A group residents from the Teratai state constituency in Ampang turned to the Anti-Corruption Agency (ACA) today for help to solve the mystery of how the half-a-million allocated for the constituency was spent.
The 10 residents filed a report with the Selangor ACA headquarters in Shah Alam based on records obtained from the Ampang Jaya District Office.
Documents supporting the residents claim were distributed to the press by newly elected Teratai state assemblyperson Jenice Lee, who accompanied the residents.
The documents showed that the money was disbursed between Jan 1 and Feb 14 during the tenure of Gerakan’s Yat Soo Sun.
Based on the records, a company known as Tunggak Mahligai Enterprise received a total of RM275,000 over the period.
I am very headache with SYABAS. This privatised company had given me a lot of troubles....
I though all the problems had resolved by Tuesday. But seems like the next episod is starting.
Yesterday, I purposely made a visit to Pandan Height because of the water crisis. When I reach there, the residents told me that the problem had solved. Then as usual, the resident representatives take this opportunities to tell me all their maintenance stories and the strata title problem.
Today, only the Pandan Height has no water supply, the rest of the areas are ok. This afternoon Iskandar (Y.B. Cempaka) is going to the SYABAS HQ, I think his area is badly affected. I couldn't join him as I have other appointment. Anyway, I have send my special assistant Dorothy Chong to voice out our opinions/comments:
1) We need a proper explaination and solution from SYABAS
2) Why the water from water tank are yellowish and after we had complaint, the water tank send the water with full of chlorine.
3) We propose the water tank pump the water directly to each block water tanker, so that people do not have to carry bucket of waters up and down. Then SYABAS has to ensure every few hours the water tank will come and fill up the water.
Some areas in Pandan Perdana had been facing water cut off for a few days. In certain areas such as apartments the situation are more critical.
Many people called and emailed me. In fact, I had called the person in charge for Syabas, En. Halem to solve the problem. The explaination from Syabas was because water was lost when it was channel from other places e.g. Wangsa Maju to Pandan Perdana. The Syabas technicians are trying to find the problem.
As of Monday night (22.54 pm), most areas in Pandan Perdana had water supply back to normal leaving only areas in Pandan Height particularly block A with water supply problem. I had notified En. Halem of this and he is sending technicians to check out the problem.
Water is important in our daily life. In Malaysia we are blessed with many rivers and mountains to store water. Cases such as no water supply should not have happend. All these is due to the inefficient of the Syabas company. (please click to continue...)
The Federal Reserve Unit (FRU) is supposed to protect the people during riot but in Malaysia they protected the capitalists but not the people!
They should stand together with the people but not against the people!
The road block at Makhota Cheras had been removed after the Selangor government declared that the land is belongs to the Selangor government (Pakatan Rakyat).
I though the case had settled a week ago. However, today with the great backup from the federal government (BN fellows), the Grand Saga company manage to 'invite' the FRU to protect them to put the road block again.
When the road is closed, then the residents have to pay another EXTRA toll in order to go home.
